Nanuoya is one of Main andvery important railway station of Hill Country. Biggest and most important before Badulla railway station is Nanuoya.
Nanuoya is high above 1600m above from sea level. Kandy, Nawalapitiya, Nanuoya, Bandarawela and Badulla railway stations are main railway stations of upcountry railway. There are three station masters at Nanuoya railway station and several platforms are on it. Advanced signaling system and ancient goods are kept in a hall. Before some deckays there was a little railway to Udupussallawa from Nanuoya railway station.

Nanuoya is small town and large railway station of Sri Lanka. Main travelling station closed to Nuwaraeliya (nuwara eliya) town is Nanuoya. Nanuoya is at A7 road and 6 km to Nuwaraeliya town. But This Udupussallawa Railway Line Already closed Before 60 Year.
